I am constantly amazed at the lack of quality control today.
On a house we built 30 years ago, the cabinets were a work of art but the owner noticed one pair of doors that were off parallel by about 1/16" in 24". The $12000 built in Frigidaire side by side refr/freezer clearly displayed a difference of 1/4" between the tops of the two doors. The owner accepted the Frigidaire reps excuses, but insisted that the cabinets be aligned more perfectly.
By the way, where does this particular piece go?
