My '48 B1PW had sit since 1994 until nine months ago. Same things done as yours to bring back to life but initially found i had sticking valve on a 10 thousand mile rebuild. I used a mixture of auto transmission fluid and mineral spirits down each plug hole with some marvel mystery in tank. The square top carb can beat you to death also even after what you thank it is perfect cleaned prior to putting it back together. Pull all aluminum welch plugs to get to everything to make sure it is clean.Mine would run and pull till you called on it then miss. Found spring under step up piston was missing which cured this also. As a final thought even though the square top is squared away i just put a weber on mine just to try it with the air filter housed in a stock oil bath air cleaner housing. Like night and day difference in smoothness and the way it runs in general. Be sure to let us know what you found.
