Good morning, I have some NOS stock oil filters depth at the military senior oil canister could pick this up years ago many had second thoughts about using them because even at that time they were probably 20 to 30 years old. What's everyone's opinion on degradation of the sock around the filter and it gumming up the oil passages. Not saying that these are degraded they seem fine but being at all I'm concerned about the cloth covering maybe breaking down so I have never used them. All opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance.VY
