Thank you for your comments and suggestions. They make perfect sense, and have reinforced my suspicions of the order in which assembly should flow. I will go back to the body shop and request that the cab be next. Thanks for your help. I appreciate you.
As for the color, I am honoring originality with dark green, and fenders painted in body color. The truck spent its life as a seismograph field truck. The company's rather elaborate door art will be recreated and screen printed on the doors. The company's slogan: Wherever a man can go. Now that, I think, is a Power Wagon appropriate slogan!
