I agree with you philosophically.
Does anyone know if the major manufacturers are working on a hybrid 3/4 or 1 ton truck in addition to the all electric? With the limited range (and also important for many to know that the range is even less in colder weather) or all electrics, it is a real limiter for trips of any distance.
And, in our recent snow storm and shutdown of Interstate 95 in VA, it would have been an even worse situation for people in all electric vehicles that were stranded and trying to keep warm because of the extended time it took to "rescue" the vehicles.
