But 35 lb valve springs and negative overlap? Lots of room for raising the horsepower curve there. Make valve train specs similar to /6?

Boring wise, I wonder if you could bore it off center, taking most of the .090 off the non-siamesed walls? It's got those wacky off set rods OE, what's another .040? Hmmm, I wonder if you could get a crank journals ground wider?

And drilled,set screws into crank throiws to restrict oil flow. That looong stroke acts as a centrifugal pump.

Improvements are possible.
