old trucks are fun

So I am sitting in traffic waiting for a light and a little kid in a stroller starts pointing and waving at my truck. My wife and I start waving back. Then the kid starts smiling and waving and the stroller pusher looks at the kid then my truck and starts waving too. This got me laughing because the little guy had to be under 2 years old. "look dad that man has biggest toy I have ever seen"( my words not his.)
Less than minute later we see this girl who is about 3 looking at the truck and trying to get her fathers attention, pretty soon she has passed us but has her head turned around and we are waving and laughing. Finally the dad stops turns around and starts waving as does the girl.
I love those moments. I have no idea what crosses little kids minds but it sure does one good to see their smiles.
