i'm in NY. The system takes a picture of the rear plate as many states do not issue front plates. our company rented trailers to the post office, who do not pay tolls. our trailers were dragged through the toll readers, and we were issued fines. we had to fill out paperwork for every violation! we got pretty good at it, even creating a huge stamp that filled out the entire form, with the exception of the signature and plate number. sucks.....
