63WM300 has a MC that is leaking fluid on every release of the pedal. From what I have learned from many of the archived posts is that the fluid is leaking past the cup due to scores or pitting and/or the other hole is clogged and not allowing fluid to return.
Do I understand that right?
So, I have a new MC on order as well as a rebuild kit. But the one from the PIF appears to be a one piece closed casting and the one on the truck has a bolt on top. Is one better than the other?
Finally, that dust shield was such a PITA to remove. Should it be put back? Only the left one is present.
