Yes, there is a spark when disconnecting the battery. He has tested all the fuses, etc. in the panel. The instrument panel seemed to be the culprit. We're going to continue testing.
Under hood light is a good idea. I'll suggest looking at that. Dome lights are not suspects. They are turning off as they should.
