Dragging things around the farm, whatever it will pull. On the road, not much, if you plan on going anywhere. Just drive your truck up a hill and watch it really slow down and you have to down shift to third just to keep it near 30 mph. Now think about adding weight to that and watch what happens. It might be ok for back roads at low speeds with little traffic but not on main roads. It will do 45 to 50 mph unloaded on the flat or down hill. I put 4000 lbs of gravel in the bed of mine and drove 3 to 4 miles at 25 mph or less as that was all it would do. I will now put a yard + of gravel in and it’s 35 to 40 mph but the brakes will fade really quickly on a downhill stop with that weight.

There is really no hard answer as they did not rate trucks back then for towing.
