Those for sure are some dimples from tightening the u-bolts against a frame with reinforcing it. However, I would not be too concerned unless the owner is planning to carry a lot of weight, off-road a lot, or build the truck up with modern engine etc. and drive it like a new truck.

As a side note, those door decals are in fact gas pump decals as the narrator of the Youtube video alluded to. They were first used in 1956-1957 when Standard switched their White Crown gasoline to "Gold Crown Super Premium" and their Red Crown gasoline to "Red Crown King Size Regular". The Standard torch and flame decals were used on the same gasoline pumps. Quite an interesting way of advertising the new signage seen at the pump islands. The graphics on the yellow ice scraper first appeared in 1961. So it appears the truck was a Standard Oil service station wrecker for at least 6 years or so.

It would be interesting to find out if it was put into wrecker service when it was new, or a few years later. Judging by the rear shock absorbers, electric windshield wipers, rear PTO tailshaft, and the additional water pump pulley left over from a mechanical engine governor, since removed, it appears the truck was fully optioned.

It is amazing, considering where the truck resided in recent years that it is in really good, straight condition. Even with the correct leader chain for the wind. It looks like it sat in that same spot for 20 years or more. I would bet that it was a reliable driver when it was parked there, if not just a few years earlier.

Hope the next owner will treat it well as it certainly deserves it.
