Inverters are usually rated in watts. Volts x amps equals watts.

Assuming the door opener uses 120 volts, you can divide the watt rating of the inverter by 120 to determine how many amps it will supply.

In example, a 1200 watt inverter will supply 10 amps. I would add a 20% factor to make sure the starting current of the door motor won’t exceed the capacity of the inverter and pop the built in breaker on the inverter.
