more heater questions

Thankyou to everyone who responded to my plea for a heater, you people are really great !!! I made a deal with one person who responded and the heater is on the way.
The next problem to deal with is my water pump. I had to replace it last summer and the only pump available did NOT have the heater hose outlet on it.
Do I need to change the water pump(again) or is there somewhere on the block (flat 6 cyl.)where I can make the connections ? Thanks
