Several things to keep in mind: 1 – rubber gets hard and it cracks over time causing leaks, 2 - there is no oil slinger at the rear main bearing only a crankshaft thrust flange for the rear thrust bearing (rear main bearing) to prevent the crank from walking front and back while rotating, 3 – if the clearance between the main bearings and crank is beyond the allowed limit, it will cause oil to leak past the oil seal due to oscillating, 4 – check the crankcase valve assembly to ensure it is not plugged causing increased pressure in the crankcase, 5 - if the clutch is not slipping or chattering when released, chances are, no oil leakage issue from transmission.
