Oil from Flywheel inspection hole

So I am working on the winter to do list for the 1960 WM300. There seems to be oil leaking out of the flywheel inspection hole. I am thinking this might be the rear main seal. I think i read somewhere that the rear main can be replaced by dropping the oil pan. Thoughts?
