Well I just spent over an hour writing a document on how to accomplish this dilemma using a separate 12 volt battery, a bunch of relays, etc. etc., but then the light came on. Oopps this is not a DOT approved system, toooo much chance for mistakes, and toooo much risk for liability. It would be much simpler to accomplish with a plastic trailer ball and plastic safety chains. HaHa. JJB.
