Not to mention any tarp whether it be blue, orange or pink with purple polka dots over a painted surface is basically death to the painted surface. Paint has to breath. If you build some kind of framework & attach the tarp to the frame leaving breathing space...no problem but if a tarp is laying directly on paint...plan on stripping the paint off of your vehicle.
If you ever look at a vehicle & see tiny blisters when it’s dry...that’s from a tarp.
I’m not a fan of any car cover left outdoors either. They sell ones that they claim allow the paint to breath but not on my trucks. Only indoor.
