Forty-seven years ago when I moved to the woods and had never heard of Stihl, I started with a little Mcculloch Mini Mac. It provided firewood for the family for at least five years when it began to show its age. Next was a Poulan--when worn out, replaced with a Huskey. A big snow storm (rare around here) took out more than fifty trees, covering my long driveway. When finally cleared, the Huskey was done and I bought my first and only Stihl. The 039 is probably going to out last me and possibly my boys as well--as the old Dodges surely will.
