I just bought a new MS260 last fall. My 026 I have had for 25 years was getting very hard to start and had been rebuilt one already. I got one of the last MS260's with the old style carburetor. The new Stihl saws are converting to computer/electronic controlled engines. Eg. no adjustable carb. only a control module. They say they work well but being an old Power Wagon guy I just couldn't go that route. My 026 with worn out carb. still served me well.
