Even if you have a pancake air compressor you can probably get a couple good whacks on it with an impact wrench. You just need to wait for it to recover. I wouldn't run heat on it unless you are replacing the oil seal. If the 3rd member is still in the truck it will be tough to do with a breaker bar.
