Lost juice completely

Started fine light came on started looseing power and completely died

Heard a humming noise when it was running ran for maybe a min if that and died

Ocurred to me to touch the altenator to see if it was hot

Popped the hood and touched the alt and it would have burnt my finger if i did not remove it

So my guess is the alt fried itself somehow?????
