Mine has a 301 Poly. Probably not much different installing a 270 but it’s definitely a tight fit in there if you want to try to preserve the bulk of the truck as original & not redesign it into something it’s not :)
I guess the biggest obstacles are the steering box & the clutch & brake frame mounting brackets but it all fits if you take you’re time.
