It depends on what you plan for your truck. If you want to sell it as soon as it's finished, shell out the other $10000 for the bedsides, fenders, tailgate, wood, paint, etc. That $10000 will definitely get you a higher price, but it will probably sell the truck much faster. If you want to use the truck and enjoy it for a few years, the flatbed, for $8000 less will do just fine.
