I saw a new Ford the other day at the fuel station...looked good. I’m still gun shy after the 6.0 disaster but I’m sure the new Ford motors must be holding up. Ford has always made excellent Diesel engines. No idea why they went the IH route.
Usually after a major issue like that was, the company has to spend years going over & above to get their customers back. I’d try one...just that given the choice I decided to buy a Duramax. The new Cummins doesn’t do anything for me. The Duramax/Allison combo is pretty hard to beat. I think all 3 are pretty good trucks.
My 18 Duramax has 50k on it now...no issues except oil changes & most miles towing heavy.
