I agree with the comments about using a digital meter. Just the magnetic fields present inside the motor will create voltage, but they will vanish under even a tiny load.
Here are a bunch of motor wiring schematics. See if you can identify your motor by comparing the number of leads and their markings, but also looking at how the motor fields and armature/rotor is set up.
