With the millions of those winches in service, I am quite sure a lot of them had to be repaired. You can probably do a lot of the work yourself. A really big pipe wrench or crescent wrench with a piece of pipe slipped over the handle to gain leverage and a good vise will be good helpers. After you get it back to where it will fit the brackets, take it to a machine shop an get the hole repaired with a bigger bushing.
