Winch parts

Im starting to rebuild my winch and was pricing some parts in the VPW catalog. In previous catalogs the winch cable drum shaft bracket was always listed as "Call for availability". Now in the 2017 catalog its listed for 550 bucks?! Says stronger than original, but still. So this leads me to a question, mine is tweaked and the shaft hole is kinda egged out some. What are the chances of getting someone to straighten it out and it be just fine? Ill see of I can get a picture posted of it, cuz Im sure it can't be known if it can't be seen, I guess Im just venting over a piece I need but don't want pay almost half the price of a rebuilt complete winch
