Took some compression readings on the IND-7(237). 90,100,100,100,80,100. Head gasket does not appear to be leaking. Does have the VPW high duration lift cam in it. Plugs are burning good and no miss at either idle, acceleration or high speed. Want to increase the compression ratio to around 8:1. Have been told head can be shaved anywhere from 0.060 to 0.125. What do you guys think. Vacum reading is at 17 and the needle has a slight variance of less than 1. Intake valve lift -.376, exhaust valve lift -.364. Cam lift is .376 both. Thanks for any input.
