I don't understand . What does cranking with throttle open so to the readings? Make them lower?

I just re-checked my brand newly rebuilt 218
(Under 1000 miles on it)
And I got consistent readings across the board
Between 125-130 lbs.

Yours at 80 lbs seems low for a newly built engine?

Why does opening the throttle during the compression check alter anything? I didn't do anything but crank the motor with all Plugs out
