got a ram assist on my carryall. I got bound up in the bush while climbing a log and when all was done I blew something. No more ram assist and when I hit the brakes the steering locks up.
Any one know what is the most likely thing to fail? There used to be a bunch of articles on this on the internet but many are now gone - tried multiple search engines - pretty sure most failures were in the pump but I am not sure what part.
I just pulled the can off the back of the pump and found a piece of rubber in there but nothing else. the pump has never been noisy and made no new noises after the system went poof.
Yes I know better - I wanted to go hiking and was too lazy to deal with the log in a smart manner.
