Yup. If I crank the idle mic screw to dead seated it will kill the engine.
However it runs best about 2/2 turn to about 1 full turn out from dead seated position.

I think this may be ok, this adjustment looking at reference material I havevon this carb.

Now the burbling or occasional miss still is present.

Time to check the valve to tappet clearances tommorow.

My guess is this is the issue.

The carb on it is brand new never been run so it's not fuel related , like a dirty or clogged passsage way in the carb I think at this point.

I tried the started fluid spray truck while running around the manifolds and carb base . No rev changes in the engine.
