Nick, I really feel your pain. Even though nothing like this has happened to me yet, it's absolutely infuriating for me to hear about things like this. And it makes me concerned about driving my truck and parking it anywhere, whenever I get it running again. Mine is a '49 Power Wagon, and I drove it to work as my only means of transportation for over a year, about 13 years ago. I look forward to being able to drive it to work occasionally again soon, but I worry that it will be stolen or vandalized as it sits out in a large parking lot for 10 - 12 hours. I'd like to drive it once a week or so, but the fear of that sort of thing really makes me hesitate. I really don't want to leave the truck garaged all the time. It's meant to be driven!
If anyone has any good suggestions for deterring would-be thieves or vandals, please post to let us know.
Sorry, Nick, I don't mean to hijack your thread...I hope you can find a replacement, or better yet, find the weasel low-life who stole it and get it back.
