I moved from calif 47 years ago. They were making people sort trash then. Paper here, aluminum there, plastic, styrofoam, metal, tires, leaves, branches, grass clippings. People here in Idaho had bumper stickers that said "Have a nice trip....back to Calif" and "Don't Californicate North Idaho". Apparently no one read them because within the past 15 years they have started to make us sort the trash and are passing a lot of new laws and restrictions that sure do resemble Californication.
