That sounds like a great approach. Do you cut out these layers to roughly match the shapes of the floor panels, so you can get them out later to replace the clutch or do other maintenance if needed? With the Peel & Seal being so sticky, you probably have to work at it to peel it off the bolts that hold down the floor panels.

Also, do you put a tough rubber floor mat on top of the reflectix? Or do you have something else you like to use?
