I use 2 layer of Peel N Seal. This is a aluminum Heavy duty foil with a rubber packing that us very sticky. It comes in 6 inches x 25 foot rools and is available at Lowes. Its
like dynamat and others, just much much cheaper. Then on top of the Peel N Seal I lay one layer of refletex. Aluminum, foil on othe siodes with a inner layer of plastic bubble foam, also available at Lowes.

This treatment provides a wonderful sound barrier and also insulation. Its amazing how this quiets noise. I have done it on my 4 diesel conversions, CJ-7/Cummins, and all my Corvettes. I am sold on it.
