They are talking about indexing the U joints end to end on the drive shafts. Modern cars don't have this issue. These old things have the slip joint between the U joints so you need to make sure they are lined up properly end to end on the shaft.

Mine have already had all the shafts lined up. That was caught and fixed back last July when I went through and repaired all the the driveshaft issues.
