I ran this truck all last summer with no issues, this winter made a lot of improvements and added gages cause it did not have any. Oil psi gage is fed from the rear main port which is normal. all new 1/8 inch copper tubing. the truck does not have a bypass filter. inside the oil pan is clean, I am running 30W non detergent. The gage goes to 100 psi and it is pegged. tried another gage, same thing. Definetly high cause when I remove the gage it is now stuck at about 40 psi. I have scoured the internet with no real solution found. I know there is a pressure relief valve but would that only come into play if I had a bypass filter setup?
