For those of you that have an electric fuel pump and your truck sits for long periods between starts, this is a nice option for an easy engine start. The switch is used on 66-76 Bronco's and other Ford trucks and to activate the pump once installed, you push the lever down, hold and release after 10 seconds. The lever automatically returns to the middle off position so you don't have to worry about your pump remaining on, a nice safety feature. I realize there are many ways to rig a switch or to prime the carb, but this is a nice way to get in your truck, hold the switch down, and then release for a quick start to avoid the long cranking dry starts.
For those with a mechanical pump that want the same feature, plum in an electric fuel pump.
If you prefer a Dodge switch use it.
