The limitation I've run into is that I can't find fine-thread (SAE or UNF) stainless fasteners. As anybody found a source? I do use UNC SS fasteners with locknuts to replace UNF steel ones in non-critical but rust-prone applications like body parts and accessories, but much as I'd like to use them for driveline bolts I just won't trust anything but grade 8 real steel for that.
