Hello fellow Dodgers,
In my progression to restoring my WC12, I am now working on the sheet metal now that its warm out. As we all know the lower edge of the doors are often rusted out. The front corner below the hinge on my passenger door is a mess (about 4 inches) back from the front had to be removed. I planed on welding in steel but this is a complex situation- multiple curves so I am thinking of a readi-made patch piece from the Plymouth Doctor www.theplymouthdoctor.com but I have read rather bad reviews on delivery times for his products- Does anyone have experience with this guy? Another alternative is to ask you all if you have a bad door that you would sacrifice for a patch piece? Any ideas appreciated.
