I was going to tie it into the key switch so it also turns it off when I pull the key out or just in the accessories position it works but the coil does not. The side tool box with all the stuff in it gets used mostly when open so I also wanted to disconnect the battery fast there too. With all the large cables on the side of the small battery box it is nice to turn the battery off to work in/or on!! I will cover them later with a rubber mat type flap when done.
