The winter conditions and such make everything much harder. I was playing with a minivan unit and while the sweep was about correct, it only had one speed and again was an issue with needing to be flipped for the other side of the cab.

Most of the modern units are just too big to fit well, though we don't need quite as much power as some modern vehicles with their 20+" wiper blades.

My setup is definitely not the most elegant, but it should be plenty strong, in fact I made sure to add some extra reinforcing plate behind all the mounting points just to make sure I didn't mess up the sheetmetal if they got frozen or stuck. I know some special engineering could get us there, but I don't have access to it.

I think your best bet would be to find a motor that fits on one side and has the right sweep to drive one wiper directly, and then create a linkage to drive the opposite side of the cab through a linkage. Finding that exact right motor is the issue though.

By using a linkage setup like mine you can use basically any motor you like, the linkage determines the sweep and rotation.
