Hi Gerald. Welcome to the Forum. It's a big enough hobby with room for all types of trucks and drivers.

Are you saying the truck is not currently a 6x6 because the rear axle is not a driving axle? Is the gas tank actually mounted between the two rear axles? Are you wanting to make the truck into a 6x6? Not sure that is possible at this point.

Also, not sure if you know, but it is not a Power Wagon cab. It is a 2WD civilian Dodge cab. Doesn't really matter. In fact, it's good the builder did not sacrifice a Power Wagon cab for this build since the 2WD cabs are more readily available.

I will leave it to others more knowledgeable than me to comment on axles, etc. I will say it looks like the rear of the frame has been extended, but it's not weight bearing so probably no big deal.

I'm not sure what type of winch that is, but I notice it is set up to spool cable from the top. The WC, Power Wagon, and M-37 type vehicles were set up with underslung winches to spool cable from the bottom. The reason I mention this is that there are two types of brakes on the winch. A drum brake shoe on the outside to keep the cable from spooling out too quickly and to hold the drum in place when not in use. There is also an internal safety brake band you can't see that acts on the worm shaft drum. The safety brake band prevents the load from slipping when in use. If you set up a PW winch (MU-2, LU-2) as overslung instead of underslung, the safety brake cannot function properly. You may never plan to use the winch, but if you do, it's worth checking out.

Enjoy!
