I'm the new owner of the 1946 6 wheeler that sold on Ebay

Just read the previous comments posted in Forum #481. All negative. That's fine. Well, I'm the guy that bought that truck. It was bid to $15,400 in 2 days and if I don't like it I will just resell it. If you feel the 7.5 GM axle is too weak, is there a better axle that would be an easy swap without replacing the other 2 axles? If so, can you be specific as to what I should be looking for? Since the real owner is now on this thread I would appreciate positive input and no more negative comments. It's still in Denver and headed to Indiana and I will keep everyone posted once it arrives here. Appreciate any comments that would help me make this a better truck. I do have a lift with a snapon welder and a pretty nice garage to do the work and I have friends that come over and help me with the more involved auto repair work. Hope to be a productive member of this forum so hopefully we can turn the channel and post info that will help me turn this into a better PW.
