WC53 Dodge Carryall body tag # question

Found a WC53 over a bank that was pretty much toast. I did salvage some window winders and frames off the rear.
Picture rust free metal squashed by a dozer.

any ways how do I crunch the body tag number?

4249 - 9224

I thought that the second number was the number in line that was produced.....but there were only 8400 made so what am I missing?
