Yes the last 4 digits are the serial number for the body. Are you sure the first number is really a 9. All I have ever seen is 8400. 4249 is a 3/4 ton carryall. Did you get the frame number or military number. Did you take the tailgates. Especially the upper as they can not be reproduced very easy. Also grab the tailgate hinges even if the hinge pin holes are broken as they can be repaired.
