Which is cheap because it makes more sales. And the seller gets paid instantly on small sales. It's lots better than "I'll send you a MO- someday", and that day will never arrive.
My total cost runs about 10% between eBay and PP.
But charging ebay fees for freight when the freight cost more than the low value part is a killer. They do it so a seller can't evade their fees by selling a part cheap but adding Handling to make up for the $$$. I got stung on some hand tools I sold for a widow. Low opening bid, didn't go higher, eBay and PPal both charges for the freight, It was higher than the fees from the widow. I might as well have thrown the $4 tool away, but I was hoping for $60.
