but according to bob in illinois who built a really cool 6x6--everything changed when he moved the axle back as far as load on the front but he also put a 5.9 in it
not sure if that came before or after
i would not think that by moving the axles back it would affect much the driveablility of the truck other than less turning radius but bob if i understood correctly said it made the steering a lot stiffer and almost bottomed out his front springs
