I received photos of what was described to me as a 1946 Power Wagon, for sale in Denver for $3,000 obo. Running and in very good condition, per the owner.

The photos revealed a 39-47 2wd 1/2 ton Dodge Truck (WD???) mounted on a 41-4? WC 4x4 chassis. The single t-case lever was clearly visable in the cab, as well as the olive drab colour of the running gear.

I left a message for the owner, saying I was not interested, thanks anyway. He called back to argue the point that the truck is all original, verified even by the Dodge
Truck Club guys in Colorado. he mentioned that the truck was designated WC11-T2, anyone know Mark Bell of Denver?

Is this a proto-Dodge? Am I missing out on something rare?

I don't think so.
